Overview
ShineLog is designed as a local-first app for creating cleaning proof and client-ready PDF reports. This policy explains what information the app handles and how it is used.
Information Stored On Your Device
ShineLog stores the job information you enter, including job titles, client names, addresses, service dates, references, area notes, before and after photos, captions, issue notes, business profile details, client sign-off names, signatures, and generated PDFs.
No Developer Backend
This data is stored locally on your device. ShineLog does not operate a developer backend, account system, analytics service, advertising SDK, or third-party tracking system in this version.
Photos And Camera
ShineLog uses the camera only when you choose to take a photo. Photo library access is handled through Apple's photo picker, and the app receives only the images you select. Selected images are processed locally so they can be included in reports.
Purchases
Subscriptions are processed by Apple using StoreKit. ShineLog receives subscription entitlement status from Apple so the app can unlock Pro features. Billing details, payment cards, refunds, cancellation, purchase authentication, and Apple Account credentials are handled by Apple.
Sharing Reports
When you choose to share a PDF, iOS presents the system share sheet. ShineLog does not know which destination you choose unless iOS reports that the share completed.
Data Deletion
Delete All Local Data removes ShineLog's local jobs, photos, signatures, generated reports, and business profile details from this device. It does not cancel or alter Apple subscription history.
